A name inspired by life
What does ZAYEI mean?
Our name draws inspiration from the Greek word ζωή (zoí), meaning “life.” And to us, life has always been about more than simply existing.
It’s about the little moments that make us happy. The things we choose for ourselves. The people we love. The care we show. And the standards we refuse to compromise.
We wanted a name that could represent all of it — something distinctive, something meaningful, something that could grow beyond a single product or category. That’s how ZAYEI found its identity.

How it began
It all started with a simple frustration.
Have you ever wanted something truly premium, only to realise how difficult it is to find? We have.
We wanted the finest dry fruits, carefully selected nuts, nutritious seeds, indulgent chocolates and delicious savoury snacks. Not from five different stores. Not with five different expectations of quality. And certainly not by compromising on what we wanted.

- 03And sometimes, even after searching everywhere, we couldn’t find exactly what we were looking for.
We were searching for something surprisingly simple: one place where quality, taste, variety and trust could exist together. That’s when a question changed everything.
“If we can’t find the experience we’re looking for, why don’t we create it?”
A more personal reason
Some of the most meaningful things we do are for the people we love.
We know what it’s like to see someone you care about going through a difficult day — especially during their period. The discomfort. The exhaustion. The changing moods. And those sudden cravings that seem impossible to satisfy.
Sometimes they want chocolate. Five minutes later, something spicy. Then something tangy. And somehow, chocolate again.
We wanted to make those moments a little easier — but finding all those flavours in one place, with better snack choices, was surprisingly difficult. And we realised: sometimes caring isn’t about doing something extraordinary. Sometimes it’s simply remembering what someone loves.

So we created what we couldn’t find.
A place where choosing premium foods wouldn’t feel complicated. Where indulgence and mindful choices could sit side by side, where the richness of chocolates could meet the goodness of nuts and seeds, and where sweet, spicy, tangy, crunchy and comforting could all belong together.
